Many developer and contractors talk about large scale office to residential conversions, but the reality is only a very small percentage of buildings are “convertible”. It takes the right collaboration between design and GC to determine the feasibility and then to execute. This project is 670,000 square feet in the heart of downtown Birmingham, AL. It’s 390 feet tall and 30 stories, and we were able to yield 404 luxury apartments with spectacular amenities. Leasing activity has been very strong, and the city and community have been very receptive. Nearing the finish line with a new pool on the 3rd floor and in the final planning stages of our ground floor restaurant. Super proud of this one.
